Dental Insurance

Our patient coordinator is trained to be a dental insurance expert.  She will take care of all your dental insurance needs.  She will:

1-Determine what dental plan's coverage is and inform you of what the cost of treatment is, what your insurance plan says they will pay, and what your copayment is.

2-Send all forms, x-rays and any other documentation to your insurance company; all you need to do, is give us your authorization to do so.

3-Automatically followup if any additional information is needed from us, or your insurance company does not pay for a covered procedure.   She will ensure you receive your maximum benefits.  If necessary we will appeal a denial of benefitsl, and we have even taken legal action against dental insurance companies with the help of the New Jersey Dental Association on our patient's behalf.

4-Wait for you insurance company to pay for their portion of your treatment, and only require you to pay your portion (except Horizon.)

This service is offered to all patients with dental insurance, whether or not we participate with your insurance.  If we do not participate with your insurance it can be an advantage, since we can function as your advocate, instead of as an insurance company employee subject to their restrictive policies.  We regret that we can not accept or work with Medicaid or DMO insurance plans.
